I'm supporting this idea all the way! I can not imagine who would disagree with it. On the whole - make posts like this more often.

Neil Gaiman has always been one of my favourite authors. American Gods is probably my favourite novel of his. It's nice to hear good reviews from people. =)

Ooooooh, that was you! :D I'd never heard of your site before, but I love to read, and I've already subscribed and blogrolled you. Thanks for leaving a "real" comment on my fledging third try of a blog :). Hopefully I'll get in the habit of writing more. I'm definitely going to be writing about WordCamp.

By the way, I did get your card. Since you asked :).

When I first moved in with Clint, Clarissa and Miss Kitty, Miss Kitty decided that I was her new kitten. Since I was a new kitten, she would train me to be a good cat. She slept on my head to keep me warm at night. She was overall a great cat. She was diagnosed with lung and stomick cancer just after Christmas last year. The doctors gave her a two month life span at that point. C&C did everything that they could to save her life. She lived much longer then any of the vets had guessed. She became the mascot up at BAVS (Bay Area Veterinary Specialists). Everyone up there will miss her too.

Beautiful choice of quote!

From Natalie Goldberg's "Writing Down the Bones":

"Katagiri Roshi has said: 'Literature will tell you what life is, but it won't tell you how to get out of it.'"
